CCLS Young Engineers BPL Fellowship.

The CCLS Young Engineers BPL Fellowship is dedicated to empowering talented students from Below Poverty Line (BPL) communities to become innovators in the logistics and cargo engineering ecosystem. This fellowship recognizes that equitable access to technical education can unlock immense potential for industrial growth and personal transformation. It specifically targets young engineers who demonstrate outstanding aptitude in applied sciences, mechanical systems, transportation, and logistics automation. The fellowship includes full fee waivers, stipends for project development, and access to the CCLS Technical Incubation Lab, where fellows work on cutting-edge projects like drone-based cargo delivery, smart warehouse design, and AI-integrated cargo routing.

The purpose of the Young Engineers Fellowship is twofold: to uplift deserving students through advanced education and to strengthen the engineering backbone of the logistics sector. Fellows are encouraged to pursue industry-relevant research that enhances cargo handling efficiency, sustainability, and safety. They also receive career guidance from CCLS faculty and partners, enabling seamless entry into the professional domain. What makes this fellowship unique is its social commitment — every graduate is encouraged to mentor at least one student from a similar background, creating a self-sustaining cycle of empowerment. The CCLS Young Engineers BPL Fellowship therefore stands as a model of inclusive industrial education, ensuring that economic disadvantage never limits a student’s capacity to build, innovate, and lead. It represents the CCLS philosophy in action — transforming challenges into opportunities, and education into lasting empowerment.
